If you can’t tell, we’re extremely excited for the scholastic season to arrive. Our preseason coverage is already underway, with MIAA and CIAC preseason polls, a wave of NEPSAC boys content and plenty more on the way.
Today, sticking to our preseason scholastic coverage, we’re identifying teams that could take a major step forward in 2026 – whether that’s breaking into contention, bouncing back or returning to the top. We picked one team each in the six major New England leagues: NEPSAC boys’ and girls’, MIAA boys’ and girls’ and CIAC boys’ and girls’.
