After 21 years, Jesse Sarzana is stepping away as head coach of the Buckingham Browne & Nichols boys varsity soccer team.
Sarzana, who began leading the Knights in 2000, concludes his time with three Independent School League titles. They also won the NEPSAC Class A title in 2004 and finished as runner-up in 2007.
A BB&N alum ('93), Sarzana said he mulled over the decision for several years. With Sarzana’s son set to be an 11th grader next year and his daughter entering 9th grade, he wanted to ensure he could attend their games more frequently.
